Sulop is celebrating its 52nd Anniversary as Municipality this coming April 24, 2010.
With this, different activities are prepared by the local government and non-governmental organizations to make the celebration as meaningful one. Fun Run 2010, Sulopians idols, singing and dance contest are among the laid activities.

Tiangge type market (flea market) were setup by different entrepreneurs at the open space of Sulop Public Market and near the Municipal building, where you can buy cheap good products. Among others are Ukay-Ukay (used clothing), household utensils, and burloloys. These entrepreneurs are from different places of the region that were used to make mobile business on different towns where fiestas and “araw” are celebrated.
To savor the essence of “Araw” celebration in the air, “peryahan” is present where adult and youngsters alike can bet on different games.
